The i930 includes standard Falcon features plus the following new features:
Camera and Spotlight: A .3-megapixel camera is integrated into the front flip. A spotlight allows you to take pictures in low light or at night.
Caller ID and Call Barring: Features can be enabled or disabled while roaming on the GSM network.
Flip Activation Button: Located on right of the flip barrel in front of the antenna. Pressing this button opens the flip.
Infrared (IrDA) Beaming: Ability to connect to other infrared-capable devices through the infrared beaming port.
International Voice/Data Capable: Dual iDEN/GSM mode supports voice and data service in countries where Nextel has roaming agreements. The i930 switches automatically between iDEN and GSM when in international locations. For a complete list of countries, see Sprint Worldwide.
International Wireless Data Services (GPRS): You can access email, messaging, and instant messaging when roaming abroad.
Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS): Allows you to send text, graphics, and recorded voice files from your phone to other users with compatible MMS devices or to email addresses. You cannot send ring tones via MMS.
Ring Tones: The i930 supports mp3 ring tones.
Secure Digital Memory Card Support: Provides additional data storage and allows you to transfer files between PC and the i930 phone.
SIM Manager: Manage Contact entries on the SIM directly from the phone. New Contacts are stored in the memory on the phone, not on the SIM card. You can:
Copy Contact entries from the phone to the SIM.
Copy Contact entries from the SIM to the phone.
Manage the SIM by adding, modifying, deleting, and sorting contact entries. The SIM file structure cannot be modified.
Video Recording: Supports video capture.
Standard applications pre-loaded on the phone:
Active Sync 3.7.1: Allows you to synchronize Outlook information (email, contacts, calendar, and tasks) with your desktop or Microsoft Exchange server.
Media Theater: You can view video clips and pictures taken with the camera through Media Theater and send them via email, MMS, or Infrared. Media Theater can display files in the following formats: JPEG, GIF, PNG, WMP, MP4, and 3GP.
MSN Messenger: You can send instant messages to users in your Messenger contact list and interact with multiple people at the same time.
.NET Applications: Microsoft .NET applications can be downloaded from aggregator sites like Handango.com. A typical installation path is to download to a PC and then upload to the phone via a tethered connection.

Clearvue is the only preloaded .NET application.
Pocket Internet Explorer: Has a built-in Microsoft Internet Explorer. You can:
View and store Web favorites.
View a history of recently visited sites and access imbedded links.
Update and customize settings for optimal viewing.
Windows Media Player: Allows you to play video and audio files, including MP3 files. Supports direct playback of video and audio files. You can download media content from the Internet or transfer it to the phone from a PC.
